    Info on Hunter 700 Balancer???

I'm going to pick it up tomorrow... I spoke to my local Hunter rep, seems to be a really nice guy. Said he has worked on them in the past (although its been a while). He also said it was a very dependable machine, not many problems with them, very simple to work on. Some parts still available...

    Info on Hunter 700 Balancer???

I ran across a nice looking Hunter 700 Balancer. Does anyone have any information on it... possibly a manual or calibration instructions??? It appears to be missing a few cones, are they still available? I measured the threaded shaft and its around 40 mm. Thanks for any help!

    Show us your welding projects

Not the best pic... I welded up a new welding table. Got a 4 X 8 X 3/8 sheet of steel from a local scrap yard, cut it to size, welded two sheets together for the top and bought square tubing for legs. I also put two receiver ends on the table which I use for temporary attachment of a standard...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Thomas, I'm restoring two Walker floor jacks similar to the ones you have. Two questions... what color blue did you use for powder coating and where did you find (or make) the red rubber (I assume) protection covers for the lift point? Thanks Bryan

    Show off your Jack(s)

Check out what I found on CL... A nearly exact duplicate Walker floor jack to the one I have. The one in the back I got from a family friend who was a mechanic for years (model 782). The one in front (reddish color) I got from a young man near here... it was originally used in a local Ford...

Hunter.... Now I understand... I have not poured the apron (or driveway)... its still in gravel right now. The house you see is a rental and my tennant parks in front of my shop. His car leaks oil and thus I won't be pouring the driveway until I decide to tear that house down! LOL I can...

Here are a few... hope they help you out. This one basically shows after we poured the footings we set the forms for the floor pour right on the top of the footing... so after the pour was done and we pulled the forms off I cut foam in 2 foot lengths and surrounded the floor with them.

    Iowa Garage Build in Progress

Hunter... Not entirely sure I understand your question... my floor was poured flat where the foam encompassed the entire floor. While pouring we measured to the center of the doors and sloped the concrete in those areas a bit to make sure while driving a car into the shop the edge of the...

    Iowa Garage Build in Progress

Been a while since I updated here... still working on several projects and yesterday I installed my jib crane (I think thats what its called). When I bought it the I beam wasn't long enough so I took the 8 footer off and welded on a 10 foot piece. I also added 3 feet to the tower, added the...
