Yup tried that everything runs smooth by hand. Took everything off and tried to run the motor with no load and the same thing.

im on the market for a new tape measure. Ive always used stanley 16' no frills tape. Any suggestions?

LOL the electric ones are maybe a touch better. But if you need to inject cleaner into the washer you may need to get a gas powered one or find a attachment for an electric one.
