I can see the site of the old Moore Drop Forge from my office window at work. I'm curious which buildings actually remain from that time frame... I'm sure most are.
I was given this drill by some friends that run estate sales. Nobody bought it and they know I collect vintage power tools, so they brought it to me. I don't really know a lot about B&D, so bear with me. I've researched this a bit and so far I've come up with nothing. The data plate indicates...
Thanks cajunfirehawk... so strange. I guess it really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. There's enough similarity between this model and a half dozen others that it shouldn't jam me up at all. I just need to find a replacement side cover.

The auction description was pretty sparse for this. I ended up paying a little more than I normally would have liked to for it, but I figured it was a good first block grinder and I was without a grinder of any type right now.
So what's the deal with this model...
It's in rough shape, but in line for restoration. It did come with two original Craftsman tool chest and cabinets catalogs though. I've had no luck finding bottom cabinets locally.
