Can a multimeter with Hz frequency be used to measure engine rpms?

Fluke makes a probe specifically for this. I think you might need an 88v though.

New Tools by SK - Is There a Timeline

Not to be negative but SK has to be THE SLOWEST company at releasing new tools EVER. You might as well change brands and get something sooner rather than later.

    Miller Autoset..

Personally I like it. I know how to weld, AND know how to set a welder, but I don't do enough of it to be able to go to the machine and know where to set it right off the bat. I like the Autoset because I can go grab the machine, and weld right off the bat. Most of my welding doesn't need to...

    Wheel Balancing Really Necessary?

Are you sure they didn't use balance beads? I have a REALLY hard time believing you got a set of 37s that didn't need any weights. I have owned all sizes of offroad tires and NEVER experienced this.

Is this HF $69 vise a good starter vise? Or should I spend more elsewhere.

We bought a bunch of those for work, because they were on sale. (same exact vise, different color and brand) they are all junk almost right away. If you want to go with a cheap Chinese vise, go with one that has as few moving parts as possible. No swivel base, no pipe vise, no spinning head...

    Punch set

I have a set of Wilde, I bought them because they were USA made. I REALLY don't like them, they seem super soft, I've mushroomed all of them even with the light home use they get. I want to try a set of Mahews though. I have their pry bars, and they seem damn near indestrucable

    Weed whacker recommendations?

I just bought an ECHO PAS-2620, I demoed the PAS-225 (same powerhead as their 225 trimmers) and found it a little under-powered. If your looking for just a trimmer I would look at the SRM-2620. I looked at the other brands as well and honestly I think these are better machines than a Sthil or...

Generac Generator Died Customer Support Useless

I think you may want to go buy a Yamaha or Honda replacement.

OEM Briggs $60 replacement the carb same as $15 ebay/amazon?

Briggs would never be my first choice, but I have one on my Snapper snowblower and it runs like a champ! Just poking fun!

    Gearwrench 120xp XL wrenches

I have these in SAE and metric. They work great for what they are meant for, but I would prefer regular 6 or 12 point over these. I find they do grab bolt heads well, but my biggest gripe with them is that it takes quite a few degrees to engage the fastener. What this does is when your using the...

    Quincy QR-25 Leaking Out Intake

Yeah, I have done more than the valves. I purchased the compressor complete, but had to replace the tank as it leaked, and had to do the magnetic switch and that. I know I wouldn't have got into the same series of compressor for what I have in it, but I could have purchased something like a...

OEM Briggs $60 replacement the carb same as $15 ebay/amazon?

The real question is why are you wasting time fixing a Briggs motor in the first place! Lol!

    Multi Attach Trimmers (specifically Echo)

Well I was able to try out a PAS-225 before buying on Friday, it was pretty good, but I was able to bog it out on a few occasions only using the trimmer head. I opted to go with the PAS-2060, with the straight trimmer, and the brush cutter. I hope it works well! Thanks for the help guys!
