Pulled the trigger and started the garage I've wanted for a lifetime. Looked at steel and seriously considered Allied out of Florida, ( I believe), With the size I WANTED to put in, (30x60), but when the wife saw a building up close with the same dimensions she just did not want it in our yard...

Didn't know if I needed to get it done before assembly or after was all. The wife wants a wood structure but it was just to costly, even with a friend building it. Would have come in at $51,000 without the floor. Just foundation and weather tight for a 30x60

Got a few prices for a steel building but like the Allied steel so far in a 30'x 60' size. Has anyone had to deal with them? How did it work out? Any issues? With a steel building I know I need piers poured first to bolt the steel to and then a floor, but is the floor poured before the steel...
