I made 4 snow and ice diverters for our building in Anchorage. Basically these protect the outside camera system from falling ice that knock the cameras off the wall. So far, so good. Cheers

In search of the perfect burger

"Thinner the better when it comes to burgers. It's all about that crust from the maillard reaction." That's my style also. These are done on the 1/2" mild steel griddle I made for an older Webber. I believe there are many ways to a great burger, enjoy the journey to perfection. (y)

    Improved Range Bench

It is pretty quick to get level with about 8" of leg adjustment. I had to shim the clamps with extra washers to get the proper action out of them. Some new longer bolts with rubber feet should fix this issue. Stained the top and a clear coat seal.

I had an opportunity to pick up 3 laptop charging cabinets. They are pretty sweet units. I am not sure exactly how I will use all of these, but the first one will hold 3 bench top drill presses. The idea is that I will be able to move a part through, drilling, taping and counter sinking with...

20V Tool Platform for a DIYer

Dewalt and M12 in my garage. I find the keyless chucks on the M12 are nicer then my Dewalts. My newest one is a m12 polisher. It works great on the RV and boat the smaller size so nice in tight spots. Be careful when buying them. At the time I picked up my cordless grinders Dewalt sold 4...

Post your diy jigs and clamps for welding

Right on. Great ideas. Here is one I made when I first started welding. I roughed up the smooth ball bearings and got it to hold 8 lbs. I thought about letting the bearings rust for more fiction, but it worked good enough with the sand paper treatment. Eventually I traded the center bolts...
