    Best deal on Jack Stands?

I'm after about 10 pair of 2 or 3 ton Jack Stands, your typical ratchet type design in steel of course. What current deals are out there? Thanks in advance.

    Little Giant Ladder 13 ft.

Hey, thanks Ford33, I just placed my order for the model 22 on this site. With the two extras it comes with this deal is really hard to beat. With any luck this could very well be the last ladder I ever buy. I'm also getting tired of having to borrow one from friends, etc.

    Removing 100% Silicone Caulking?

So, what are the tricks of the trade for removing the clear 100% silicone caulking so I can re-do my shower door, which is mounted on a fiberglass shower stall? So far on-line I've read about mineral spirits, nail polish remover/acetone, and also clear PVC primer. I'm just curious what works...

Anyone Own a Little Giant Ladder

I realize this is an old thread but I've got a question about this ladder. I'm in the market for a "multi-purpose" ladder. Inside house = standard 8' walls, 11' max highest point in the livng room. Garage = 9' walls, this is where my attic door is located. Outside = needing it to extend to get...

    Munchkin Contender Settings?

This is for my house; got 3 zones on a natural gas in floor heat with about 1675 sq. ft. of living space. My unit is the 80k BTU, which I believe is the M80 model. Anyhow, in the "Adjusting The Setpoint" section, my first two settings were 145 deg. and 15 ch I believe its called. I was...

    Sprinkler Wire Question?

For starters, I believe my newer house was pre-wired with the blue cat-5 or maybe cat-6 wire, which I believe is rated at about 23-awg or vac? Anyhow, my controller box should be a 24-vac system like most. This system is for ditch water with a 1h.p. pump, six control valves. I'll be using...

    Scrapping metal

Last I checked junk vehicles are bringing $190 per ton in my area. There is always an ad or two in the local papers about guys willing to pick up your old junkers for free or even willing to pay a little just to take it off your hands. Word has it that all the steel is being put on rail headed...

    Polyaspartic concrete coating?

Is this do it yourself territory. or better off left to experienced installer ?? I would have to say let this stuff be done by a "profesional" who actualy knows what they are doing. It took three(3) different installers who were supposidly "profesionals" before my garage floor was "decently...

Don't buy gravel when it has rained!

It appears that this thread is more related to the basic gray rock or drive-way gravel such as 3/4" or 1" max. But, since I've been doing my landscaping with decorative 1 1/2", I've been doing much better price wise by hiring out a tandem dump truck, which can haul around 15.5 or so tons per...

    '98 Chevy C1500

Good score! Changing out the ignition ain't all bad but those damn door locks are a whole different animal to work on. I went with NAPA parts when I did my 93 GMC after getting it from a tow yard (no keys at all), best of luck, oh & don't forget a bag of those plastic door clips for the door...

    Daich coatings: spread stone?

I've also thought of the idea on maybe doing some type of tiles in the garage but something different than the norm like maybe some recycled product although not required of course that is real thick. Something the same thickness as say a ceramic tile but with a bit of flexability like VCT or...
