Electric tankless water heater wiring receptacle?

Thank you very much for your help. That’s what I’ll do.

Electric tankless water heater wiring receptacle?

That’s correct, I used a standard, plastic double gang box.

Electric tankless water heater wiring receptacle?

I purchased a 240v water heater for my shop sink. I ran 10/2 romex to a 2 gang box during construction. The heater has 3' of wiring already attached. Should I terminate this inside the 2 gang box? Do they make a cover where the wire can go into the front of the box? (the box is surrounded...

Attached structures with 2 lines back to meter?

That’s a good idea. It would be a pretty long run, but doable.

Attached structures with 2 lines back to meter?

Meter is on a pole. Farm location. Main feed through lugs run to the house. Then a 100 amp breaker runs to existing shed.

Attached structures with 2 lines back to meter?

If two feeds were used, would this cause a grounding or current issue? Or is it more of the hazard when working on a circuit, one might not be aware of which panel it’s coming from?

Attached structures with 2 lines back to meter?

Current shed has a 3 wire subpanel fed from a 100 amp breaker at the meter/combo box. Bonding screw installed. I do not see a ground bar at this panel. New shed is attached to the current shed. The meter is actually closer to this new shed, so we plan to run 4 wire to the meter/combo box with...

Ceiling fan control, multiple to 1 switch?

Thanks guys. Here is the switch I was looking at: https://www.leviton.com/en/products/dw4sf And the fan: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Hampton-Bay-Industrial-60-in-Indoor-Outdoor-White-Ceiling-Fan-with-Wall-Control-Downrod-and-Powerful-Reversible-Motor-52860/204507386 I would run them on...

Ceiling fan control, multiple to 1 switch?

I’m installing two 60“ industrial ceiling fans in my new pole barn. I see most switches are rated up to 1.5 amps. A single fan, on high speed, uses 1.04 amps. Will the switch “burn up” if I install 2 fans on 1 switch? Basically 2 amps on high through a 1.5 amp switch.

Review my Plan for Sub-panels off Sq. D Homeline Main Panel

I just had an electrician run 4/0 aluminum off of a HOM2200BB breaker in a Homeline combo box. It fit fine. I bought the breaker off eBay and saved $$.

Ground wire location in new panel?

Thanks all for your help. One last question. If I do run a small subpanel from this panel in my shed, to the opposite side of my shed (same structure) should it be 4 wire?

Ground wire location in new panel?

I own it. It was installed in 2016. I’ll put the invoice. Yes, I believe that’s what I have. Meter out on the pole and 3 wire to the house. But also, now, 3 wire ran to the shed via the 4 space 200 amp breaker. (The 50 amp breaker is a 3 wire URD to a small garden shed)

Ground wire location in new panel?

    Nope. It’s direct burial URD.

Ground wire location in new panel?

Thanks. you do make me feel better about the setup. It is frustrating that if they would have just used 4 wire feeder, I’d be good to go. I’ll get the bonding screw in.

Ground wire location in new panel?

The shed isn’t fed from the house. The meter/combo box has a 200 amp feed thru lug to the house. It also has a 200 amp branch feeder breaker that feeds the new shed. There is nothing metal connecting the house to the shed. Basically a 250’ run to the house. Now a new separate 300’ run in the...
