Hey all. I picked up an antique bandsaw for $100. It's a Defiance 36" from the early 1900s. I'm planning on restoring it. Planning on mounting a 7.5 hp 3 phase and running it off a VFD for speed control and running single phase. First of all I'm not sure at what speed range one of these operates...

Addictive indeed. The legacy compressors like Saylor Beall, Champion, Devilbiss, Quincy, Westinghouse/LeRoi/Dresser, Ingersoll Rand. I've got seven compressors in various states of rebuild atm.
