I didn't salvage the stickers, used the heat gun and they peeled and broke up. What I do plan on adding is some stickers I've gotten along the way, Milorganite, breweries, parts. But I'll put them on neatly and where I feel necessary. I'm really digging the clean look.
Thanks! It was a labor of love for sure 90% done with the cabinet drawers and door coming up last. Wondering if Snap-On will provide a replacement latch mechanism like they did for the drawer rails.
I thought about that yesterday and posted separately as well. I'm taking a different approach...
I'm almost complete with the main box and working the side cabinet but have gotten to the point of how to finish the inside. I have a dedicated HUSKY box for my ratchets and sockets but will use a drawer for the miscellaneous and specialty ones I have. I also do not have nice sets of...
Time for an update. Life got in the way with two little kids and everything that goes with it. I finally ramped back up and got all the main drawers painted and the sliders in with paraffin wax and some silicone lubricant where it still was a little tight. Final assembly of the drawers for the...

Maybe not tools, but they warrantied my fil's gifted KRA box sliders. Getting a few new pieces goes a long way to completing my project. No charge, great CS.
Anyone have a suggestion for cleaning the guide rails. I need to clean/degrease and remove some very light surface rust from my own stupidity of air drying them the first washing of all components.
Snap On has warrantied some parts and is sending me a few new rails for the ones that were bent...
Side tray and lower drawer cover panel were prepped and primed yesterday. Got a coat of red on and waiting for a quick wet sand and more coats. Then onto the side box before tackling the drawers.
Thinking I will want to put some vintage decals back on here when it’s done though.
Big day today, got 3 coats on the bottom and then grinded the cover door and side table. Then added a coat of primer to those. I got excited to move the box so I picked up the casters and mounted them. Finally the big box can move on it's own again!
Just need to add a coat of polish to the...
