I can't remember if it was on this forum, or elsewhere, but someone had a link to a shop press that had a ram with a pressure gauge and handle which looked like a knockoff DAKE. I think the press was a greenish color. I can't for the life of me find it or the company. Can someone assist. Thanks.

I got sidetracked from the project when I found this Smith and Mills Shaper for cheap. However, I got focused again, and here she is starting to come back together.

Here is the results. Only did a little painting as I had other things to do, and the ind. enamel takes quite a bit longer to dry than the 2 stage epoxy primer. Also put some new bearings on the motor while waiting for paint to dry.

Got some paint from Sherwin. Here is the formula for those with older powermatic vista green machinery Took out my cheap HF clone HVLP with a 1.8 tip and thinned the paint by eye with laquer thinner. Probably about 20%. Shot well through the gun.

Also got the quill bearings and other bearings back on. Rebuilt the Jacobs 34 drill chuck as well.

Yes. Ive got the 3 phase. Im going VFD with pot so I can slow it down when needed. Im going to try and keep everything original except a box on the side for the vfd / pot

Id love to find the powerfeed option. There is also a footpedal option.

I found the Sherman Williams mix for the old powermatic pea green on the OWWN. Ive got an HVLP, so Im going to hit it with a two part epoxy primer sealer (I have a gallon or so laying around from another project) and then the factory color. I also found old powermatic decals in image format...

Also took the production table off of the column today. Very heavy. I couldn't resist a little PB Blaster and scotch brite. Also tried WD-40 and Evaporust. Here it is with about 5 minutes of scrubbing.
