2nd story or loft in steel building solutions?

Would it be possible for you guys to post pic's when you start your build, I will be doing this in the future and wanted to be sure that 2x4 walls (all around) would be of sufficient strength. Thanks

    Steel Building in California

One small thing I liked about the CBC was how they run a girt at 4' high as well..

    Steel Building in California

I am in N. California and had my steel building erected just last year. It is a 40x50 CBC building with (2) Porvene roll-up doors (13x12), (2) man doors (4' wide), and (5) dual pane windows. The building is insulated with a Micanan opener on one of the doors. The building is about 16.5' to...

Overhead rolling steel doors -- considering motors

One of the roll-up doors at my shop (13'x12') is equipped with a motor, I recently added a Micanan brand motor to it. I also ordered three remotes for vehicle entry. It functions nicely.

PS101 Penetrating Sealer + Latex Based Paint

Dr3wM3: I applied PS101 on a fresh 2000 sq. ft slab then waited a week and applied an acrylic sealer. I applied two coats of acrylic and the slab surface accepted the sealer just fine. The PS101 appears to penetrate just down below the surface not affecting the top substrate. Try a small 6"...

    Acrylic over Penetrating Siliconate sealer?

Hello, A few months ago i applied a Siliconate penetrating sealer to my new slab and it works great. Not complaining here, but it sure would be nice to add a light acrylic sealer over the top. Is it still possible or will it just bead up and sit there without drying to the top surface...

TLPPC vs SPGX vs Nohr-S vs ??

If you like the looks of a smooth power troweled floor you might take a look at some of the penetrating siliconate sealers that are out there. They won't change the surface substrate very much but they seem to do a great job of sealing against most stains.

    Lithium Silicate Densifier PS103

Today I ordered PS101 (Siliconate penetrating sealer) to apply to my new slab. Would this product allow me to apply a coating over the top (acrylic) in the future?

    Lithium Silicate Densifier PS103

Thanks Shea for the quick response!! And yes, it is Concrete Sealers USA. I guess I liked the idea of burnishing afterwards for the slight sheen that is offered in the PS103. Why would they recommend a burnishing for the PS103 and not the PS101? I have a clean slab for my shop and was...

    Lithium Silicate Densifier PS103

I have been looking into this densifier/sealer combo from Concrete Sealers USA, the product is called PS103. Was curious if any members had any experience with this product? Not too many reviews, however their PS101 gets high marks but seems to have siliconate in it vs being a lithium silicate...

For those of us who have purchased already, I am willing to bet that some type of resolution will be forthcoming as well. So far my experience with there customer...

    My TLPPC floor..

Alright guys, not to sound stupid but what kind of timeline should I be looking at as far as rate of absorption? What's a Dixie cup...4-5 ounces? If I were to pour this on my slab, how long should it take for the water to absorb? Or I am overthinking this?
