If it helps the silver bolt is actually a 1/4" carriage bolt that someone bent in there. Obviously not factory. This picture is with the bead breaker arm removed from the machine and taken from the hole just above where the hold down cone sits. Thanks again!

I like that idea. Any idea how I would even locate the pipe and find where it enters the building? I live in NY so its burried at least 5 foot deep.

I may just take the one suggestion and cut everything and open it up and try to determine what I will need. Hope I wont hit the water line in the process......

Not to sound dumb, but your saying a 4" slab would cost me $600? If thats the case I would have no problem doing a pole building. Would just a slab work with NY cold weather?

Just trying to gater some ideas on a garage floor instead of a using foundation. I figured out I can get a complete garage kit from 84 lumber for $5,200 (20x24) From the prices I got the foundation will be around the same cost and I just dont have that kind of money. Is there any cheaper...

It will be used for emergency power for a house. I am hoping to power a few lights throughout, propane furnace, refrigerator, and the well pump. It will probally be hooked u to a 30 amp outdoor outlet then feed a 30 amp breaker in the main panel with a interlock.
