    Is this stronger than drop forged steel?

    I found these at a local thrift store and thought they would be good to throw in with the off-road recovery gear in my FJ Cruiser. Where does this materiall stand on the Rockwell scale? Is it stronger than drop forged steel?

    my new hf 1x30x5 belt disc sander

    I've had one for six years. Works great. I use it mostly for grinding knife blades. I chose the green one without the disc on the side because they both have the same motor inside, but without having to turn the disc the belt gets a bit more power.
