I mounted mine to a butcher block I cut to fit the top of my box. The bolts extend down through the top of the box as well. It also turned out nice when I used the router on the corners.

Just picked up this 1/2" drive Armstrong ratchet from a buddy of mine for $5. Seemed like a good deal to me. This thing is heavy!!

Thought I would include my contribution to this thread; the Gearwrench set was $60 (on sale) at Sears and I have been wanting them for a while. Now I realize what all the buzz is with Snap On ratchets.

I used plain old Rustoleum red

Thanks!! It really wasn't all that difficult...here's the before paint picture, had to use a rotary wire brush and it cut through like butter

Now all that I need is a butcher block top for the tool box!!

Cool pictures!! I saw your reply to my thread also. If I can get around to it I'm going to be sandblasting mine this week. Is there a specific name for the red paint you used? I like the way that looks.
