I went ahead and applied the clear glaze coat from the same manufacturer. I know the finish was inferior and it went on very thin. But it came down to ensuring that I had compatibility and the need to get something down right away as I was on day 6 and apparently I only had until day 5 to get it...

I'm going to give them a call tomorrow and see if they offer a stronger, thicker clear coat than the one I bought that will hopefully last longer and wear better.
