I gave them a call this morning and you're right. This is by design and I probably had the release lever open after I had set the locks. I haven't been able to recreate the issue. I'll keep an eye on it but Advantage Lifts says this is normal.

I don't remember exactly the sequence of events. Even if I did, I wouldn't expect one cable to act like this. I pulled the car off the lift and ran it up and down without incident. All I can do at this point is to keep an eye on it. I may call Advantage today and talk with them about it.

All locks click at the same time. This is a light car. Less than 4K and it was centered on the lift. I'm going to pull the car off and raise it up without anything on it to see if I can determine anything.
