Mohawk lift fans- JUST bought a used 9k system 1a- could use some help

Not sure, no, just regurgitating what I read when I went looking...I have an old Mohawk USL Scissor Lift that needs a coat of paint, you see. I suppose you could call Mohawk and ask. Last time I looked they sell spray cans of touch up paint.

    Mohawk system 1 help

Your hydraulic line is not hooked up correctly. The extra "blocked off tube" in picture 8 is for connecting the hydraulic line on the slave side whether you run lines underneath the floor or overhead. This lift has a master (power unit side) and a slave side. When you power the hydraulic...

Stihl BG 55 Leaf Blower Problem

How old is it? Have you changed your fuel filter? Had a similar problem with a BR320 that was solved with a $6 fuel filter. The other easy thing to check is spark plug. If your plug is good and fuel filter is new, and you still have problems, you can buy a carb rebuild kit. The carb has a...

What's your essential home oil change equipment?

My cars (2 Lexus, 1 Subaru WRX) have undercladding, not worried about damage to a Fumoto valve. I love replacing the original drain plug and not worrying about whether I have a new crush washer or not. Also enjoy not having to drop drain plug into hot oil. Someone mentioned a Mityvac; haven't...

Hi, Longtime lurker, first time poster...maybe third, actually. Last year, I bought a home with a two-plus car attached, and the three car detached "shop" which looked like more space than I could ever fill, at least during the buying process. After I moved in, different story. I like...

    Blackhawk Vintage Jack

Got it home this afternoon. The good: - It rolls around OK - not buttery smooth but not like pulling a cat into a vet's office. - It raises and lowers easily, although it won't hold weight. - No obvious mechanical issues The bad: - Grey paint over original red is flaking - There's a...

    Blackhawk Vintage Jack

Thanks, I can hardly wait to check it out! Hopefully it's mechanically OK, there can be some issues from other threads I've seen. I'm a little concerned the ad didn't show the handle but for the price I don't get to complain.

    Blackhawk Vintage Jack

I'm picking this jack up tomorrow. It's a Blackhawk, ad says it's 6 ton. Is this an S-4 and if so, it's rated for 4 tons, yes? Did they make a 6 ton version? Pics are from the ad. I'll add more after pickup. TIA!

Upstairs Detached or Walkout Basement? Which would you choose for a Woodshop?

A track saw (Festool, Dewalt, Makita, etc) makes it easy enough to break down the sheet goods on the first floor of your garage shop. I agree the bigger problem is the ability to build large projects upstairs, then get them down to finish or install. That sways me to the walkout basement.
