Building a mez in my shop and plan on having it 10x30 foot. The 30 will be running along an outside wall. Question is how far apart can the inside supports be? Not wanting a wall on the inside part. One side of the 30 will be attached to outside wall and 10 foot across from that I will need...

Probably run 2x4 s across opening every 4 foot. Walls are 16 foot. Or I might make vehicle studs every couple feet.

Guess they only have it in 48 inch widths. My space is 8.6 feet, so I guess I'll have to rip off pieces to fill in the rest. Not to decide on interior wall
