check all of those plastic valves you mentioned. Mine had a couple of them stuck closed, no pressure.

I used a treadmill motor and speed controller on my 12in disc sander. The speed control works great to slow the disc down to keep from burning wood. Plenty of power.

Some people have made one out of a trailer tonge jack. I made mine out of a pully / cable and a counter weight the same weight s the table. Works great.

The change I wish I had done was put a cutoff valve for thr ice maker in the back of a nearby cabinet. I hate pulling out the fridge to get to the ice maker cutoff. You are doing a great job. What a project!

Thanks for the ideas. I used Hav-A-Hart traps last year and caught about 20. This year I can't catch any. They are too smart I guess. I will get some quiet ammo and try that. I am not waiting for them to do thousands of $ in damages.

How can I get rid of squirrels on my roof.They are chewing on the soffets and gutters and causing a lot of roof damage. I live in the city limits so 22 shooting is not allowed. Need some ideas!

I use 2 used self serve car wash vacs. One at each end of the shop. They are stainless steel and have 2 motors each and a 2" hose. They really ****! You can probably find some on Craigs List a lot cheaper than new wall mount vacs.

I vote for Shars. Installed it on my South Bend 9A and use it every week Works fine. You will have to modify the bottom of the center post to fit your lathe. No big deal.

I think your pressure has gotten too high. That hex cap sticking up is probably an adjustable pressure relief valve. Loosen the jam nut and try to back the adjustment out a little. Good luck.
