I had closed cell installed on the walls and ceiling of my metal building. The expansion of the foam caused some leaking issues with my roof ridge. Even with the closed cell foam, the leak came through the ceiling.

Can you share what he charged per sqft? If it was a lowball bid I think you are kind of stuck with it. But if he was charging a premium rate, I'd absolutely have him rip it out and redo it.

I'd suggest starting with 4. The reflectors and dimmer should be setup this weekend. I will let you know how they work.

I installed 6 150W dimmable HyperLite Heros in my 40x40x14 metal building. I think it was a bit overkill. They light the shop great, but can be blinding if you look up at the ceiling. Messing around now with putting them on a dimmer, removing 2, or getting reflectors
