Can you spread the chips or color flakes on the last coat of epoxy and not put a clear topcoat over them. Any advantages or disadvantages?

New concrete floors bout 3 months old. My question is do you have to etch the floors before applying epoxy paint. Not going to be heavy traffic and I have scrubbed it with super clean.

Bendpak 10a 2 post lift wiring the micro switch for top. Do I pig tail or splice into the wires on the power motor on start and stop switch.Bendpak supplied a 4 wire wire for this.Thanks pictureswould be great
