    1/2" rapid air kit

This is a little late and somewhat of a thread revival- Bought Tractor Supply kit as seen above. Leaked from nearly every quick connect fitting on the tube side. Could be a user issue, could be a poorly designed product. Just FYI.

For anyone that may search this thread in the future here's what I did: picked up a kiln dried center cut dug fir jacked up each side of overhead horizontal support beam with bottle jacks and 2x6s raised up horizontal support beam just enough to get old post out slid new post in top bracket...

Milwaukee M18 Fuel from HD or Lowes

The refurb'd fuel drill I got on CPO outlet has broken after serious abuse. In other words, regardless of the brand it would've broken. Having said that whilst getting the repair parts, and emailing Milwaukee about the proper grease to rebuild said abused tool, it would appear that today's fuel...

    Home built lift video

This is such an awesome idea, thanks for sharing. It's good to know that with my hack skills and nothing to trade it would cost about 2k and result in certain death. Results- you have saved lives, time, and money for the similarly unskilled with delusional ideas!

I park on the 2nd floor (detached garage w/ basement)

There seems like a lot of creative possibilities...I wonder if you can create an access through the garage floor from the basement kind of like an oil change pit?

    Cell Phone In Metal Shop

And, after a quick search, I discovered that the FCC does regulate boosters, and requires a user to get carrier approval before using. Link to Verizon registration page: http://www.verizonwireless.com/wcms/consumer/register-signal-booster.html#2 "Registering your consumer signal booster with...

    Cell Phone In Metal Shop

Maybe you are confusing another device with a Wilson booster? Not sure how it could cause interference with other users based on my limited experience...The Wilson products I have used required that the phone be very close to the booster for any gain...Basically you have one bar and very spotty...

    Cell Phone In Metal Shop

X2 Wilson boosters are legit...Dunno why some may say a booster would be troublesome...Have had them in 3 different configurations all have worked as advertised, increased the signal without any other issues. It's a really easy couple hundred buck fix that really works. Best part is easy to...

    Garage support pillar recommendations

Very nice reference...It looks like 1/2" although section 6-6 states that there is no standard, just a culmination of various manuals. This column is almost an inch out of plumb, so, it looks like I should probably replace it. It would be super cool to find some old timber and do something...

If you are sagging up above, you might be better off shimming the top of the post, etc. It would be really difficult to get a new one in there and get it just perfect. A new post would probably need to be shimmed anyway. wssix99,Thank you for your input, it's great to get your knowledge, and...

Does the post worry you in some way or do you just want a smaller one? The post does concern me so I am considering replacement options. It's great to know your thoughts on what steps it would take to put in a smaller beam, much appreciated...Kinda like all of the column elimination threads...

    Garage support pillar recommendations

The attached pictures show a pillar / column that supports a second story, across the span of a three car garage. I have heard that the builder used green Doug fir and other construction methods that left our development with a lot of warped floors, joists, and columns. Just a little back ground...
