    Water bearing up

Ok concrete grinded. Full order of primer and since I needed to prime I decided to go with ultra armor vs the spgx polyurea

    Water bearing up

I take it you would recommend grinding then not using primer?

    Water bearing up

Thanks. I guess I’ll just plan to do the whole floor in primer. Would rather a bit of overkill but make sure it’s done right

    Water bearing up

That’s beading up Preparing my floor for polyurea coating. It’s a large 1400 sqft garage. There are several spots where the water beads up even after etching and degreaser. I bought some oil stop primer, but I did not have enough to hit all the spots. The spots are hard to see. They are not...

    Protect lift while acid etching

Got my 2 post lift installed in the new shop, but haven’t yet put the floor coating down. Going to acid etch today but I want to protect the lift. Figured I’d tape off the base and shrink wrap the posts. Anything else anyone would recommend? Other idea I had was to sand around the posts and not...

Porcelain tile and a 2 post lift

Good to know there are options. I like the spacer idea. I probably will have the lift installed long before I get a chance to tile so that might work well. Now to find some good tile

Porcelain tile and a 2 post lift

The only concern I have is that the arms on the lift automatically unlock when the arms are all the way down. I’m concerned that the thickness of the tile might keep them from unlocking

Porcelain tile and a 2 post lift

Will be moving my 2 post bed pack into a new shop. This go round I’m planning on doing tile vs epoxy as the epoxy didn’t hold up well. Can I install a lift over the tile? Or should I install the lift and then fit the tile around the base?

    eastwoods new scroll air compressor

Man, I missed the boat on this. I’m exactly the market for this kind of product. I have a 1500sqft shop for me to play with my cars. I want a compressor to paint, sand, blast, and air tools but am not running a 4 person shop. Been looking at 80 gal 2 stage and building a shed off of my shop to...

    110v winch

seems like maybe the best option is just to get a warn or similar 110v, and an extra length of cable. I can extend the winch cable, attach the extension between it and the car. I have to winch the car out of the trailer and up ~15 ft of hill. The garage is 50ft deep but I guess I dont need...

    110v winch

Been looking around and reading up on a few threads here. I cant seem to find a winch that meets my needs. I'm looking for a 110v winch with wireless remote and ~100ft of cable. I want to use this to winch cars off my trailer and into the shop. All I see are some really expensive...

Unique looking options for 30x50 shop?

I was looking at the pure metallic stuff then hoping to put an industrial grade top over it but was told that would not work. You guys seem to disagree? What clear/top would you use?

Unique looking options for 30x50 shop?

Hi Looking for some advice. I'm building a 1500sqft building to work on my cars. I'll have a 2 post lift and all the goodies. I really would like to get a neat unique look. I love the metallic options but have been told metallic is not strong enough for this type of garage. I also don't see...
