What's the outside of your garage look like?

30 x 50 x 12 with a 10x10 "cutout" that will eventually be screened in. Inside is a 10x10 bathroom/storage closet and a 10x10 kitchen area. 20x10 loft above kitchen and bath. Still working on the inside touches like paint an more osb on the walls.

    My new 36' x 56' Polebarn - Pictures

No, it was by Seefeldt Condtruction in Lena, WI. They all probably use the same manufacturer for the aluminum though. I wanted a contrast so it didn't look like a commercial manufacturing facility. We are pretty happy in the color choice after picking it off a brochure.

Did it cost you to hook electricity up to your garage.

For $495 do it and don't look back. In Wisconsin, I just had new underground service run for a pole barn. 400 ft. from the road and it cost me $2900. If I had it done after 11/15, it would have been an extra $1.50 per foot due to "winter conditions". They really have you by the short & curley...

    New Pole Barn almost done

I'm not sure about the spacing on the trusses. I think they are 10' apart but I have not been up to see it yet. It's been killing me to stare at pictures all week, so this weekend will be my first chance to crack a beer and take it all in. The company that put it up does about 90% of the pole...

    New Pole Barn almost done

Thanks for the photo help. This is up near Crivitz. Since I live by Kenosha, it is a weekend place to store the fun stuff and a base for camping. The inlaws took the pictures for me and it looks like my father in law is already thinking of stuff to put in it....Thanks for the kind words. Here...

    New Pole Barn almost done

It is located in Northern Wisconsin. Still in the early stages so not really ready for the Grand Tour. But here are a few more that show some details. Under all of the garbage in the corner is the roughed in plumbing for shower, sink, toilet and floor drain. Also have a floor drain between the...

    New Pole Barn almost done

This started back in May by clearing the spot. 47 trees had to be forceably moved. Then the excavator came in and put in a driveway and leveled a spot in one day:bowdown: Next was the rough in plumbing for the bathroom, then the concrete pad. They started the building on Tuesday and the last...

    Is this a fair price??

Thanks for the replies. Actually, the Jack really made the flakes "pop". I appreciate the suggestions about doing it myself. It is something that I could tackle, but time is my enemy. With 2 small kids, I don't think I could quarentine the gargage and get the uninterupted time I would need to do...

    Is this a fair price??

I was at a neighborhood party over the weekend, and one of my neighbors told me that a guy was just finishing his epoxy floor. I've been thinking of doing this/having it done for a few months. So after a few more Jack and Cokes, we went to take a look and it looked good. He measured my garage...

New Guy with 30x50 pole barn

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. The inspector said that it was okay to run water and septic for a bathroom. I guess I will scale down the Taj Mahal of pole barns a little. Just can't invite the neighbors over in case I piss them off in the future. Any one have any luck with portable...

New Guy with 30x50 pole barn

Well I spoke with the local building inspector yesterday. I didn't say what I was planning on doing but he made it very clear that they would not allow divided rooms for living space inside a pole barn. Looks like this is going to be one comfy "workshop". Anyone else run into problems with...

Thanks for the advise. I didn't even think of the fumes that would be pumped in. Don't want to turn blue any time soon...
