Trane AC compressor "where to find one"

I did not see what color the compressor was so I'm not sure. My dad's house was build in 2003 so the AC unit is not really all that old but then again, I'm not sure if 8 years is normal for the life of a compressor. Do the Trane dealers sell directly to the public? Or do you have to be a HVAC...

Trane AC compressor "where to find one"

So my dad's home AC Trane compressor looks like it's shot. He has a buddy that use to do AC work and can replace it for him but he can't get the parts. Is there a place online that I can order one from? The unit is a Tran XB10 m02.no.2TTB0030A1000AA I have looked around and I'm not sure I...

    IR 215g question

I turned the regulator up to about 125 psi and the impact is definitely stronger but still not as strong as I thought it would be. For example, I still can't take off a lug nut from my envoy that is tightened to around 100lb.

    IR 215g question

nota: the way to adjust power seemed a little strange to me. I'm not sure why it was not designed to just provide the same amount of power in forward and revers. zrexxer: You are right, I didn't know how to put it. I rounded the numbers because my torque wrench has not been calibrated and...

    IR 215g question

I am running 3/8 goodyear rubber air hose and the regulator at the compressor is set at 90psi. All of the connectors are either from Northern Tool or Home Depot, those are the only places that are local to me. I am running a few connectors. I have the compressor going to a 3 foot hose that...

    IR 215g question

using a 3/8 hose. It won't hurt the gun to set it at 120 psi?

    IR 215g question

The compressor is 15 gallons. It pressurizes to around 200 psi then cuts off. I set the regulator to 90psi and after a minute or so of using the tool, I still have above 90 PSI in the tank, so the compressor is at least telling me it is putting out at least 90 PSI. I tried all of the...

    IR 215g question

So I tested it again tonight and changed the dial setting. It was a little better because I was not able to to stall it with my hands. I did some testing by doing the following. I set me torque wrench to 860 foot inches (max setting). From my calculations, this should translate to 90lbs of...

    IR 215g question

Last weekend I purchased my first air impact wrench, an IR 215g 3/8 impact from Northern Tools. Its rated between 25-125lb torque. I used it today and to me it seemed a little weak, for example, I turned the power setting all the way up and was able to hold the socket in my hand while it...

18 Volt Cordless Impact? Dewalt vs Snap On vs IR

I have the ct4850 and it has more power than I actually need for my small mechanical needs. The good news is that I plan on getting the ct440 so that I can use my 18volt batteries with it. I looked at the Dewalt before I decided to get the SO. You can get a new dewalt for less that the price...

    Dewalt vs IR air compressor

If I do get one this year I am sort of leaning towards the Dewalt. It's a little smaller than the IR, rated for what I need and the noise level is lower than most others, and the price seems about what I want to spend. I'd pay more of the IR if it is worth it. Does anyone have any...

    Kids play set

I went ahead and ordered the "Big Backyard" version from willygoat.com today. I'll post again once I get it and set it up. I was looking on CL but I don't have access to a truck so getting it quickly would be an issue. Thanks again for all the help

    Dewalt vs IR air compressor

I have been looking around for an air compressor. I posted a question about the HF air compressor for $99 a few weeks ago and it was recommended that I look for a better model if I wanted to do light automotive work. My original plan was to get a compressor to blow out my irrigation system...

    Kids play set

I am looking on willygoat.com and have my eye on a Big Backyard brand. Does anyone have any experience on the quality of these? I don't have a huge yard so the smaller play sets are more what I am looking for. The next one up is the Gorilla which is larger.
