I see some parts on Ebay and a few other vendors but no info about this pump. Like when it was made, how it compared to other Champion pumps, what hp etc.. Anyone have any info?

Bad idea, the IBC does not allow using sheeting for tension.

Yep, I have bought 2 Saylor Beall 705s (my favorite), Kellogg American 331TV, and a Champion 15A or B. All purchased for less than $150 each. They were rebuilt for about $200 each and all will probably last another 40 years. The Champion I bought pump and 3 hp motor, no tank for $25 and it...

One nail in shear, located near the end has very little capacity. Plus the bracing isn't even continuous. That bracing was clearly not installed as permanent structural bracing.

Those 2xs were tacked on only to facilitate stabilizing the trusses to sheet the roof, they are not structural components. And as poorly as they are fastened wouldn't do anything to prevent buckling, Compression blocking between trusses would, not just a nail here and there.

Probably found out how much new steel costs. :D

That 20 hp gas is more or less about 10 hp electric. Surprised that is enough power to do that level of blasting.

I dunno, maybe it is just me or the part of the country I am in, but I find used, industrial quality compressors, 2 stage, 80 gallon tanks, 3 phase, 5 REAL hp, Champion, Saylor Beall, Kellogg American etc and buy them at $50-150 each. The high end is if they have a quality, single phase motor...

If you are talking about hydraulic hose there is a special blade $$$ in a chopsaw arraignment to cut it, and many use a metal cutting blade in a chopsaw. Which works, but burns the hose and makes a stink...

When I run across poorly designed for repair/maintenance, I redesign it so I never have to go through that again.
