Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

Do you guys think they will be releasing the rest of the boxes in the new colors as well? I'm really liking the new green 5 drawer cart, but would be even more interested if they were planning on releasing the 56" in the new colors. Having a mismatched box and cart would drive me crazy.

    Spray paint

generally graffiti artists seem to prefer Montana spray paints... crazy color selection, mostly matte and super matte finish. very long lasting. I've used them for a few small projects. http://www.montana-cans.com/

Believe it or not.... I've had the best luck with color place wal-mart spray paint. 98 cents a can.

    Drift Garage's wabi-sabi floor project

I believe I mentioned this in another thread, but we did something similar in our gym. Granted it had always been carpeted and didn't have deep soaked in oil stains but its held up really well for the past 4 years especially seeing as it regularly sees 400+ pounds of plates slammed on it. It...

    Drift Garage's wabi-sabi floor project

So I've noticed many people spending hundreds, even well over a thousand on epoxy, swiss traxx, race decks, etc. I'll hand it to you, those are all some nice floors. But I cant justify spending that kind of money on something that 3-4 guys are gonna use and abuse every day. I could never see our...

Opinions on low price tool box upgrade?

Well, right now I'm looking at $150-$200. Were in the middle of renovating the garage so funds are tight. I really need some sort of temp solution because I had to pick up everything and pile it on my workbench (were epoxy coating the floor this week). So as soon as everything goes back in the...

Opinions on low price tool box upgrade?

Well, I don't have any intentions of ending my tool collecting habit. lol. However, as much as I would like a HF 44" or the all mighty 72", I can't afford them at the moment. The only reason I even mentioned the craftsman 8 drawer is I spotted one on CL the other day for CHEAP. I'm not looking...

Opinions on low price tool box upgrade?

So its getting about time I upgrade my tool storage situation but doing so as cheap as possible. For years my brother and I shared a garage and a craftsman box as well for our hodgepodge collection of tools. After I moved and began finding it impractical to drive to his place every time I needed...

The 2.5 HP i was looking at was a Bosch. 12 amp?

    Router motor+drill press....

Do routers lose most of their torque at low rpm's with a speed controller? I haven't used one in quite some time and never with a speed controller. My drill press has a 1/2 HP motor and I saw a 2.5 HP router posted today on CL. I figured even with torque loss in the controller, it would still be...

    Router motor+drill press....

So I've been searching around all over the web and this idea some how hasn't been brought up. As many people have asked before, I was curious if you could use a cheap router speed controller on a drill press to slow it down for drilling metals. Clear answer, no. That much has been pretty well...

So, got a little bit done today. Been sealing up cracks and gaps with great stuff all week. Took a break from that to clean out the corner of old lawn tools and garbage. There is an old wooden bin that held rakes, brooms, weed eaters and such. Cleaned it up and am gonna re purpose it as a Stand...
