looking for help identifiying this anvil.it was my grandfathers.its not for sale but curious as to where it may have came from.i have done a lot of searching but come up empty. in pics you can see a small rectangle hole in front base and a notch on the front foot/base both are unique and i cant...

Tried powder to bring out anything tried a flashlight on the edge saw nothing other than H's and a lot of hammer marks!

I did weight it,it is 186 lbs.since pics were taken I wire wheeled it.there is nothing there. The notch in front leg is so unique I can't find anything like it

have an old anvil that was my grandfathers. its not for sale.just trying to see if anyone can i.d. it it has no markings except an unusual notch on front leg and two random h's stamped close to small rectangular hole in front bottom any help is apreciated. thanks
