What resurfacer have you had good luck with? I'm looking to do my front steps. Been looking at Quickcrete Re cap and Sakrete Flo coat. Also, Ardex CD looks to be about the best, but it's hard to find. Are there others worth looking at?

Ah yes, you are correct. I will just notch the 2x4 where the vent will go, and add additional nails if necessary in the siding.
