    28x30 Two Story Addition

Here is a few that I had on this computer. No big surprises on the move. Those came later after the remodel:D The house has quite a history in our small town. It was one of the first homes of that size in the area. And it was rumored that the family I bought it from actually won it and...

    28x30 Two Story Addition

With the help of my friends bucket truck and the sun coming out for a few days, we were able to get the house painted. Then we ran the under floor pex for radiant heat. We just used a staple up system with aluminum sheets and had it covered in 1.5” of closed cell foam. Also the plumber showed...

Floor joist are 2’x30’. We were hoping to be able to use 18”x30’ to give a little more room for the side walls but the engineer for the truss did not think that would be heavy enough.

Moved it a total of 15 miles. It was a little weird to see your house going down the road with your curtains flapping out the windows.

    Bedliner-type material for floor?

At work we use to mix silica sand with epoxy paint. Cheap and worked well for a non slip flooring.

Need some professional advice on spray foam machines.

I decided not to buy the spray foam machine. My company has picked up 3 more rigs and I could not find anybody to run it while I was at work. Anyway I was able to find a guy to come out and spray 3” closed cell foam for $1.51 foot. Thanks for all of the input guys I appreciate it.

The rig I had in mind was purchased but not used due to health problems. He is asking $50,000 for it. I know it is a lot of money but just by talking to people in my local area I already have 8 jobs lined up. Thank you guys for all of the comments and criticism. It is helping me look at this...

Need some professional advice on spray foam machines.

Robert, thanks for the info on the company but I am doing this building up in North Dakota. I don’t think he wants to travel that far. With everyone being so busy I thought of becoming professionally trained to kind of turn it into a side job since I only work 2 weeks out of the month the way it...

Need some professional advice on spray foam machines.

I have a 30x50 pole barn that I remodel that is waiting on spray foam insulation. I will also be remodeling a 2500 square foot house with a 30x30 garage that will be built on to the property. Here’s my problem. I can not find anyone that can do it within the next year to a year and a half. (One...

I know it's not the garage floor but.....

We were quoted $1,500 by a professional. Doing it ourself the total cost came in just under $300. The only prep I did was buy a gallon of concrete cleaner and pressure washed it. That’s the good neighbor. I will let him have a pass. No need to now. We just sold the house.
