I just ran 50' of CSST to my garage heater, so I don't think you'll have a problem...and I just went to Menards and bought the tubing and fittings...no licenses required...

why the corner facing the garage door instead of the middle by the flag facing the garage door???

so, on the lines of hanging this heater, how far of a 1/2" gas line is exceptable??? hanging the heater in the corner would be roughly 45' run...I was thinking of keeping it 3/4" black pipe in the basement(1" is reduced to 3/4" and only have the water heater and boiler piped)and switching to...

that's what I was thinking when deciding to place it in front of the flag...blowing on the garage door so it would kinda heat evenly...

yup...got the 45k..and NG is in the basement...B-vent will be going straight up through the roof...just curious, why would it be better over in that corner??

bought a heater yesterday cuz I'm tired of the propane tank heater...I'd really like to place the heater on the wall with the tv, but the chimney and stairs are there and I have no way of getting the gas piping up there....so, I'm thinking of placing it where the flag is...pointing towards the...

garage is fairly well insulated(wouldnt say it's the best)...stayed above freezing this week with sub zero temps outside...

how big of an area will that heat???? my garage is 524sq/ft and I've been thinking of getting one....

yeah... I don't hang out in the garage too much either... just have a few beers now and then... probably only heat it 4-5 hrs a week... I'm leaning towards electric too...

wow...I was just going to ask a similar question...I have 2 garages...both 22x24...1 attached and 1 detached...I've been thinking about a hot dawg heater, but since they would be occasionally used(2 times/week)have been considering going the electric route too...
