    Wheel balancer mounted in bus

Good food for thought, it doesn't take long to calibrate and I dont plan on doing high volume tires. I just work on so many cars that also need tires that I ended up with a tire set up.... the thought of putting all of this in to a mobile shop came from the fact that most of my side jobs are out...

    Wheel balancer mounted in bus

Hi, I have a coats 650 balancer I'd like to use as a mobile unit. I'd like to hear any feedback on how well the calibration would hold up or if I should just save up and get a hand crank designed for mobility. I cant imagine having to recalibrate a machine every time I want to use it!

anyone own an outdated hunter alignment machine?

I see this is an old thread but I'm picking up a p611 tomorrow, any hints on ownership? From what I understand I can manually enter specs if need be so I'm not daunted one bit

    Hunter p611 opinions

I'm not sure. I did do some reading and I've used the 611 with win align wich I like, and I found out I can enter specs if need be. I'll probably end up buying it and putting the old one up for sale for the song I paid for it

    Hunter p611 opinions

Hi everyone, I have an opportunity to buy a hunter p611.... I already have an old fmc I've been trying to get working but I'm not really sure I what to spend any more time on it. Parts are nearly impossible to find and it's a two wheel machine. The hunter seems to be a more common machine and...

FMC model 4000 computer alignment machine

I did do that too.... I went as far as to call john beam to ask for advice! I didn't find anything about snap on, that's interesting, Thank you! My machine is so old it doesn't even have a CRT, only analog meters across the front of the case and a spartan appearance. I think once i start...

    Mid 1980s era Snap-On tool chests/boxes

I love my old krs800 but I don't have it at work. I'm only part time so I picked up a craftsman 2000 series 26 inch just so I didn't need the fork lift to come and go. The snap on is a stout box and back in it's time was the best.... its found it's new home in the machine shop with tooling and...

FMC model 4000 computer alignment machine

Hi everyone, long time lurker first time poster here. I recently picked up an antique fmc alignment machine for a song and I'd love to get it up and running. I can do alignments with strings and tapes but it's worth a shot to get this old girl going! Problem is, it's so old there's no...
