    Small sheetmetal project from today

Not a problem with rivets from what I know because the rivet alloy is harder aluminum than the metal skin. I could be wrong though. I think I this case it was that the rivets were improperly installed. I think whoever was bucking the tail must've pushed too hard which caused the manufacturered...

    Small sheetmetal project from today

Yeah, rivets worked most of the way through the skin. Luckily Airbus got back to us quick.

How Are You Liking Your HF U.S. General Series 3 Boxes?

I have the 72. It's been good so far. I got it not long after they came out with series 3. I use it for my helicopter box so it travels quite a bit. Probably 8-10k miles inside a trailer fully loaded. My only real gripe about it is the drawers stick part way in and I have to pull a little harder...

    Winch recovery point

The driveway isn't necessarily bad. We just had about 15 inches of snow and I was trying to get into the two elderly lady's to help them evacuate, we were all without electricity for 3 days and they were getting low on supplies. I wasn't sure about using any trees because we've been having them...

    Winch recovery point

This is the best shop chemical I have ever used!!

One that’s kind of neat is ultrachem assembly fluid #1 it’s a sticky sort of snot consistency. When you have an o ring or something that just won’t stay put with oil or Vaseline this stuff is great

    Cornwell Blue Power Angle Wrenches

I have the blue power set at work, they’re decent enough I guess. Definitely fatter than my boss’s snap on set but I needed up to 1 1/4. The metric has come in handy a couple times on airbus helicopters.

    3 phase compressor trips overload

It trips intermittently, so far I haven’t noticed when other than when my tools quit working. Today it worked fine all day and didn’t trip. I will check voltages tomorrow. 220 v Thanks for the help.

    3 phase compressor trips overload

I have my dads old compressor and lately it has been kicking off at the overload. I don’t know a lot about electrical diagnosis. If I reset it the compressor runs fine for a while it has a 5hp motor. Thanks for any help
