I thought about doing that - but the Amazon return process is way too easy. They're going to send me another one without getting this one first. It's already on its way here.
I'll update back!
Yeah - I’m pretty annoyed. This MAC2400 I’ve got from Makita is a dream. I love it. I beat the **** outta it and it runs great.
A little irritated at this model though.
I recently purchased a brand new Makita MAC100Q from Amazon.
Upon picking it up and moving it, it sounds like there are tiny grains of sand and/or metal shot in the tank. They move around when I tip it from side to side.
Is that normal? Is that just left over spatter? It seems like that...
So, we ARE getting new M12 fuel drills and drivers, but we AREN'T getting new M18 fuel drills and drivers, correct?
So I'm safe to buy the current stock of M18 fuel drills and drivers?
All good points. In another thread I posted the same question, and the the response was the truth...I should just wait a week and see. Well...I know myself. If I buy the old I'll keep that AND get the new. LOL. If they announce stuff at the show...how soon does it come out?
Anyone have any ideas on what will be shown at Milwaukee's #NPS17 event next week? I am REALLY considering getting the M18 Fuel Impact/Hammer drill combo, but I don't want to drop the coin on those if they're going to announce new M18 Fuel impacts/drivers/drills. Same with the M12 Fuel. I dont...

....odd. I can't find the weight listed anywhere.
They are listed with the same spec chuck....I think. At least that's what the description on the website says.
Good point. Let me check the weight.
I also can't see the point in a compact hammer drill. It seems to me, if you needed a hammer drill, the M18 would be the better option since I can't see a situation where you'd be limited on space, while needing a hammer drill?
Perhaps?
