Awesome job! I might do something similar on my 1st floor! I used 1/2 plywood on the bottom and 3/4 mdf as a top. Im going to take the advice and put Masonite on top of that

This is where I was born and raised and I love the melting pot neighborhoods! We all know the Tri State area ain't but IMO you can beat the food, people, and atmosphere of the area. O btw $9000/yr really isn't that bad over hear!!!! Lol
