I had a newer slab also. A good bit of small epoxy structural adhesives (liquid nails), joint compound, paint. Some of it remained after scrubbing several times and etching. i ended up using a razor blade scraper, then spot treating the small areas. Worked like a champ..

Kayla, I appreciate you taking the time to address my concern. Given that it takes 2 coats, could you help me out with a second application or a clear coat? I just installed a 4 post lift, and the insufficient thickness of coating will now become an issue. If I was advised of this before hand...

Well, I tool the plunge. I had a full kit of grey, Company would not exchange for Bright Red, so I bought another kit. GARAGE IS 440 SQUARE FEET TEMP 50 New slab, (older than 90 days). degreased and scrubbed with simple green. Scraped floor with razor blade, washed again. Let dry for a day...

Thanx Shea. Yea i think i will stick with the bright red and ad some chips. probably not the ones that glow, not very practical, way cool, but not practical. Next ??? what size noth for the squeegee, 1/16, or 3/16? thnx

Thanks Thats what I thought. Is there anything that i can do or add to achieve some other effect, besides the standard chips? Are there metallic, or glow in the dark chips that will work? Will adding any type of solvent have any color effect? How about doing the garage with 2 overlapping...

So, took the plunge and ordered bright red from epoxy coat. I also have the grey. Has anyone ever mixer two colors on the floor in any type of design? How about glow in the dark flakes? Or, added alcohol or other solvent to make designs? Also, is it possible to pour out and work a 2 car garage...

Can you alter one of the Epoxy-Coat kits if it was already colored Grey?

Move into new house on friday. I have a full Epoxy-Coat 2.5 car kit in Grey. I was wondering if anyone has ever used a product to alter the color of Epoxy. Appreciate the help
