    Painting pre-glavanized unistrut

I have no idea, I'm just gonna wipe it down and let it dry then prime it.

Yes but like I said in my first post you can't get that where I live. They make stainless unistrut too. BTW, can only imagine what they want for that.

    Painting pre-glavanized unistrut

Not a problem, had them on top of our old trailer for 10 years and they were still there, still worked and were in good shape when we sold it.

Interesting, the Tremclad galvanized primer spray can says "opil based technology". You can buy water based but I don't need a gallon of it.

    Painting pre-glavanized unistrut

I'm using pre-galvanized unistrut to mount solar panels on our RV roof, I want to paint it white. I'm going to wipe it down with vinegar, after that do I use etching primer or Tremclad glavanized metal primer. I'm hoping the Tremclad primer and a coat or 2 of regular Temclad paint will work ...

Milwaukee my impact trigger, is there a DIY fix for this?

I have a lotta Milwaukee M18 tools, some that I've dropped off step ladders etc and never had a problem with anything breaking but my mid-torque 1/2" impact fell onto the gravel from our RV steps (about 24") and the trigger fell off. Since then I've had an elastic holding it in place but I'm...

You mentioned using these which would mount your lights on a 45* angle:| strips But in this pic (4th pic above) it looks like your light aren't on an angle: Did you decide not to use the angled pieces>

Looks good, thanks. (y) How'd you attach the angled pieces? Looks like the brackets for your jacks are different than mine (not that it makes a difference with what I wanna do)

Ya, I like the idea of the 45* angle pieces. I'll trim down a piece of alum angle the size of those brackets and see if it'll work.

Went back and had a look at your pics, so you didn't use the angled piece like oldbear and others used on their hoists? You have any close up shots of how you did it? Thx
