I had the same issue with these ratchet wrenches when I first bought them. The few I have warrantied have been worse for high drag in the ratchet mechanism. I have since taken all of mine and broken them all in with a bolt in a cordless drill. I ran all of them on low speed with my cordless...
I have been trying to fixing a set of pass through sockets that have a 5/8” six point drive side. I have an older craftsman multi ratchet that uses this size. Any insight? Most of what I have found has been a differing style of spline drive.
I am an ag tech so it will see farm repair use. However it will not be for structural repair. I have a Miller Bobcat for any heavy work like that. All I need is something to make tools and fixtures as well as welding sheet metal and exhaust as needed.
I see exactly what you are saying. They all even look the same. Stepping up to a 130-140 amp machine for a little more money may be worth it. I was just putting feelers out there for experience with the cheapo welders.

I am running .035 wire in my present mig machine. This is a little large for smaller projects. The 175 is also a larger machine to...
Need some opinions on flux core welders. I already have an Eastwood 175 mig for heavier work. I know the Eastwood stuff isn't the greatest equipment in the world. It does what I need it to do for the money I was willing to invest. Now I have decided I need to add a small flux core welder due to...
I am in need of a short anvil 1" impact for work. I was looking at a snapon im1800 but that is a little pricey. It looks like that model may be a Chicago pneumatic anyhow. Any info on that? I see quite a few different models it could and it with a wide range in pricing.
I need as close to 2000...
The only repair I know of is a sad one. The Parker hoop that hold the screw into the dynamic jaw was broken. It has been replaced with a machines steel part. I don't see anything else wrong with it. Just can't get too excited about a $500 price tag!
