    Attaching Workbench Top

i used liquid nails to attach a piece of galvanized flashing to a section of my new workbench, and it has worked great. I would suggest putting some heavy stuff on the top after you attach the metal so it sits flat on the workbench.

Does anyone know where I can find US made MIG pliers/"Welpers"?

I'm a welding student currently, and I've had some trouble trying to find US made MIG pliers. I found http://www.atlaswelding.com/index.htm, so I can get a US made slag chipping hammer, but I still am looking for the MIG pliers. Any ideas?

    What is this KRA-3800 worth?

The other day I stopped by my old HS Autoshop to catch up with the my teacher. He recently purchased a larger box, and is looking to sell this one. He mentioned that he wasn't sure what to ask for it, and I told him I would take some pictures because I know the perfect place to ask! It's a...

Try googling for a "ball mill" Here are a few I found. Although ball mills are mainly used for grinding, it could easily be modified to be a parts polisher I would think. I hope this helps you get in the right direction. :bounce: http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a-Ball-Mill-in-5-Minutes/...

    Costco Tool truck visit

I got one of those exact "snap on" flashlights as a gift, and my dad got one for himself. They were both terrible. The light bulb would flicker or turn off on both of them whenever you move the flashlight around. The light inside is weak, and the shape of the reflector leads to poor lighting...

    The VISES of Garage Journal

Here's my beautiful Rock Island vise. I think it weighs at least 60ish pounds. The jaws open to just under 6". This thing is built like a tank. When I completely rebuilt my old workbench, I designed it around the vise. it works beautifully. I don't remember how much I bought it for, probably 30...
