Update on Garden Cart & new question on 4 lug hub VS. 5 lug hub?

For a garden cart you're not going to need anything fancy, I've had great luck buying oddball stuff from Burden Sales. https://www.surpluscenter.com/Truck-Trailer/Trailer-Components-Hardware/Spindles-Wheel-Hubs/...

Looking for Milwaukee Type Y Grease Equivalent

Those PDFs lay it out pretty well, you're probably stumbling over the same problem I had hunting for NLGI '0', either your salesperson looks at you with blank incomprehension and starts trotting out the chassis grease, or they do understand you however they never stock it but would be glad to...

Lets see your Tool Carts/Service Carts

This seems to be the thread for my Craigslist score :) I was feeling the need for a tool cart, my 'frugal' nature sent me to Craigslist. I figured an old AV cart with a two or three drawer middy box bolted in would be just the ticket. Naturally nothing like that turned up anywhere near, but fun...

Sears plans to shutter after 126 years in business

Montgomery Ward did the same thing in the '70s, almost everything in my grandparents house and farm either came from or was maintained with tools and supplies from Monkey Wards. Wards just died first

Any advice on a scan tool purchase?

So far it functions well, no complaints there. The biggest grey market concern is that if something goes wrong you're dealing with Launch China, Launch US will not have anything to do with you.

Any advice on a scan tool purchase?

I'm watching this thread with interest, I'm gearing up for a venture with a family member flipping used cars. I have a Launch Diagun in hand, it seems pretty promising but I haven't exercised it that much yet, excellent bang for the buck if you can deal with the 'graymarket' issues... I also...

    Sohio Vintage Oil can..Date?

What's the SAE service rating? If it's something like MS-DG alone you're looking at the '50s, the 'S' ratings came along in the mid-'60s, which 'S' ratings it carries can narrow down the era a little better...

How big is it? First thing that pops into my mind is semi-trailer pigtails...

Can You Replace 20amp Breaker with 30amp?

You might get by for years... I've found myself tearing out and redoing 'safe enough' stuff I did years back as I learn more about what's required by Code. The wisest advice I ever heard about wiring is that every single article in the NEC got there because Somebody Died.

    Well, I'm thinking carport...

I'm going to follow this thread, I'm in a similar bind :( All the shop space out on the farm is FULL at the moment and my rattletrap one-stall on the back corner of my lot here in town is torqued so bad the rollup door is jammed. I fully expect the wrong stiff breeze to blow the damn thing down...

Could use help finding brake rebuild part

There are some old MoPaR specialists out there, I've been seeing these guys ads since the '80s so they must be doing something right... http://www.oldmoparts.com/Default.htm http://www.robertsmotorparts.com/index.html

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Restored 1930's Auto Shop

When I was a kid in the '70s one of the farmers just outside the village had one of Gus's brothers with a Studebaker 232 V8 shoehorned under the hood, his teenage boys made that thing wail for years:D It always makes me smile to see one...

Do Not Swap "some" Control Modules

It's a direct attack on the aftermarket, blatant rent-seeking :( Whatever fig-leaf might be provided by government regulation this is Auto companies adopting the Micro$oft 'You might have paid for it but you only own as much of it as we let you have at the moment' business model... I guess my...

    Check out our old Shop

Thanks for sharing! It's incredibly cool that your family has managed to stay small, only close attention to customer service could let you pull it off :) I'll bet there's a fair bit of stubbornness involved too, you've [B]got[B] to have suits from Corporate turning up every so often making...
