Can you combine a 240v and 110 circuit in same box?

I did consider that this may be one of the reasons why.. makes sense! As a potential solution, in my head I was conjuring up split-boxes, where you'd have a divider plate inside the box to physically separate the circuits (think 2 single gang boxes glued together). You'd still have to be smart...

Can you combine a 240v and 110 circuit in same box?

Raising this from the dead one more time.. Where did you find that wall plate? I want to have my washer (110V 20A circuit) and my dryer (220V 30A circuit) in one box exactly like that. Can't find the wall plates anywhere though. I'm surprised that this isn't a fairly common solution...

Blaklader 1625 Pants Buy 1 Get 1 for 1$ at Tool Nut

The hammer loop on the X1600 is directly connected to the pants, not to the pocket, so it is always exposed also when you tuck away the nail pockets. I'm not sure about this but is the X1600 maybe a little heavier gauge? Not that i see either of them wearing out anytime soon, the challenge will...

Enco 25% off, free shipping, no minimums

I just got an email from Enco, cyber monday starts early with 25% off and free shipping, no minimums. I was just in the market for these for the mill mount i'm building, and they have them a good bit cheaper than Zoro: http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INPDFF?PMPAGE=500&PARTPG=INLMK3&PMITEM=827-9215

Buried NG line -- Need Help

Can you have a gas line inside conduit? Just wondering, couldn't that turn into a potential bangalore torpedo if you have a leak?

    meter base j-block (mounting block)

That looks like the winning ticket! And found them on Amazon! I just went for a little bike ride to check out the only two new houses I know of around here, one of them actually used a meter block as well. I couldn't tell which brand it was.

    meter base j-block (mounting block)

Hi all, As part of the (attached) garage build I'm upgrading my electric service from 100A to 200A, and redoing the siding on the house so that the garage & house siding match. I'm currently figuring out the meter box install. Not so much the electrical part of it, I've got that covered, but...

    Decent wood spade bits

That taper is interesting.. Spade, forstner, hole saws, they're all impossible to decently enlarge a hole if you can't use a drill press. Seems like those greenlees have that solved.

    Decent wood spade bits

With the above on forstner if the holes need to be clean. As for spadebits, definitely Bosch Daredevil over that Irwin set. I love my daredevils, i won't touch the 'standard' Irwin spade bits anymore unless they were given for free, and even then i'd have to think about it. The ones i have are...

VDE Insulated Handles - Superfluous For Most?

I've asked myself the same question, once the breaker is turned off there is no point? I have some, but simply because they were cheaper than the non-VDE version due to being on sale and the regulars weren't.

Cumaru (Brazilian Teak) & Steel Table

Nice work & nice design! I like the hex welded to the table legs for the feet to screw into, so smoothly it looks like one piece, that kind of detail adds a lot of wow feel. You're making me get off my lazy Sunday ***, inspiring!
