    Agitation Parts Washer

You guys really have me wanting an ultrasonic cleaner now. I may have to pick up a smaller one for carbs and other small parts. I still have this intake to clean out though. It's a Gen II LT1 manifold so it's fairly big. I know down the line I'll have to clean out some cylinder heads and other...

    Agitation Parts Washer

Hey All, I’m looking for some advice on a parts washer. Does anyone here have any experience with pneumatic controlled agitation parts washers? The ones where you load parts on a tray, and they get shaken vertically through a cleaning fluid. I was going to buy the generic 40-gallon parts washer...

    Walker Turner Drill Press

The Speed Juster Definitely has a crack in it. I wasn't too worried about it at the time of purchase since I figured I would just remove it. I'll be on the lookout for a replacement belt guard. The quill is really solid and other than the wobble on the Speed Juster pully everything else looks...

    Gil's Garage

I got some Pallet Racks and put them up. Most of the stuff is now off the ground. I set up the smaller shelves I have up against the uprights. I didn't do the best job of organizing the racks but it was a ton of work to do alone. At some point I'll do a better job of arranging the first two levels.

    Walker Turner Drill Press

I just picked up this drill press for a pretty good deal. Everything works great. This thing is a beast. Had a fun time moving it. What do you guys think? It has some surface rust but nothing that won't come off. I'm planning on cleaning it up. Not sure how crazy I want to get. It has an...

    Gil's Garage

So this is the mess I was dealing with. I have leftover construction materials and all the stuff out of my old garage. The next step is organizing.

    Gil's Garage

I'm honestly on a really tight budget so whatever I can find a good deal used. My biggest criteria is low lifting pads. I mostly work on sports cars but would like to be able to raise a 1500 pickup. So I'll probably get a 9k. Almost every brand ive looked at has pads that will fit under 5in. I...

    Gil's Garage

Hello, I recently realized that I never started a build thread so here it goes. I will be using the garage primarily for working on cars/motorcycles and several other projects I’ve been throwing around in my mind. It’s a block building with TJIs. Roughly 850 ft2 with a 20ft door. Plans: -...

    IR Type 30 Compressor

Thanks for the feedback. Its just weird that I can find any info on it. I called IR again and spoke to someone who really tried but couldn't find anything on it. It has a 5 hp single phase baldor motor. I haven't seen a compressor this big with a single phase motor on it so i'm assuming its...

    IR Type 30 Compressor

I just picked up a compressor and I'm trying to get some info on it. Its an 120 gal Ingersoll Rand with a Type 30 Compressor. On the compressor it says that the model is: 15VE1. I called IR and they sent me over documents for a 15V but its completely different (It has 3 heads). I've been trying...
