    Air Line Through Garage Wall

Are you just overthinking this, where is it going to slide to? Put a J clamp on the vertical portion of the conduit on the exterior wall below the LB. Once you attach the interior piping to the elbow in the LB it is not to slde in because it is trying to pull the LB through the wall and it is...

MIG on some thicker steel. Is it worth getting 100% CO2?

With a 252, you could always bump up the wire size to 0.045 for the thicker stuff with C25. My 251 was set up with 0.045 wire and a 20' whip when I bought it used from a heavy truck repair place. It would weld 1/2" in one pass w/o issue.

Best approach for tapping into a buried waterline

1/2" PVC, I would go with option 1 all day long, assuming the pipe is buried at typical DIY depths of 12-18" below the surface. You don't have to flex it much for it to fit the coupler in. Buried 24-36" deep or diameters >1 1/4" I would look at another option. Brittleness in PVC is primarily...

    Tire machine recommendations

Just to throw out another option for the relatively low cost manual version. I bought one of these off Amazon for $129. My original need was for ATV tires, which don't typically have a center that works with the HF mounting cone. It arrived the other day and I can say that the bead breaker...

    Pressure Washer Unloader Valve.

It sounds like it is working correctly, you can always put in in-line pressure gauge and check. I always back mine off when I'm done using it because it makes it a lot easier to start (Honda 13 HP w/ CAT 45G gear drive pump). I realize you can also squeeze the trigger on the wand to reduce...

    3” OD pvc? Pipe

It might not be the most cost-effective source, but I would bet you could find something from McMaster Carr. They typically sell pipe/tube/etc by the foot and since you probably only need a 2-3' piece for a blower it would be shippable w/o major cost.

Any Recomendation for a decent affordable Precision Screwdriver Set ?

Another vote for iFixit. I have the Manta kit ($69 on Amazon), which has every bit you can think of. Quality is very nice. The only thing I would wish was a little better was the ability read the labeling in the foam next to the individual bits. It is engraved into the foam, but the small...

    Well/house water problems

One point of clarification - if this is a modern bladder style pressure tank there is only one connection point, it does not have an inlet/outlet like the old style non-bladder tanks.

    Best shovel brands

It depends a bit on what you are using the shove for, but for the last 40+ years my go-to shovel is a pony/cap rock shovel. I'm on acreage with a LOT of plants and trees and so I am always digging up plants/trees or trying to cut through roots to dig a hole or a ditch. This type of shovel has...

    Good bypass pruners

My pruning tools definitely have an international flavor :) Felco #2 Hand Pruner (Switzerland) Bahco Praline P19-80 Lopper (France) Silky Zubat Hand Saw (Japan) I would fully recommend all of them. Pretty much a buy once, cry once scenario. Interestingly, the leather Felco holster is made in USA

    Any Honda GX390 Gurus?

Another way to "help" with starting is to adjust the pressure regulator to minimal pressure before starting the engine. I hook up all the hoses, turn on the water supply, bleed the lines by pulling the trigger until the air is out, make sure the regulator is backed off, choke and start. Once...

New guy from Odessa FL (Tampa area). Materials Engineering by day, enjoy metal working/machine shop work in my spare time. Grew up in my dad's machine shop, he was a gunsmith specializing in Bullseye target pistols, I inherited the shop and tools when he passed in 2006. 1800 ft2, w/ 3 phase...
