this new service will only be for the apartment and barn. original dwelling already has 200 amp service which currently feeds a 100 amp subpanel for garage and barn that will be unhooked when new service is installed

I just put up 6 8' t5ho fixtures in my 32x32x16 shop with white walls and ceilings and a shadow has nowhere to hide in there. I probably could have gotten by with 4 fixtures but went 3' off the 2 side walls with 2 fixtures and 2 down the middle

I got 8' t5ho fixtures from home depot. they take (4) 4' t5ho bulbs. they are about $67.00 each and bulbs are around $10.00. I am very happy with the amount of light they give off.

I have t5ho's and can remove bulbs while they are still lit. I just finished my ceiling and am moving lighting around and didn't feel like climbing down the scaffolding to turn fixture off. bulbs and fixture did not feel hot to me.

I would go with two 12's. at least 4' from each side which would leave you 8' in between the doors for either your man door or storage area. or put your man door in one of the 4' openings. figure out what you may want to place between the doors before deciding on offsets
