I work at a shop and I hope a tool got left on accident that the customer would return it. They are not cheap haha
I have found some basic tools in the street though and also a trailer hitch.
I bought that red 5 drawer tool cart on sale a few weeks back. Havnt put it together yet cause I'm painting it black and making some mods to it. Seems like a good deal though
I've gotten no hassle ratchets switched out when I broke em. But I don't use craftsman anymore, my matco 88 set is super nice, and plus at my dealership we have a matco truck roll in.
But it's a shame more and more product are being made in China. I really like the professional series...
As the title says I just got hired to work at a Chrysler dealership here in Pennsylvania. I'll be starting on oil changes and that stuff while I go through the Chrysler training. I'm excited about the gig and hoping its a good fit for me.
Any other dealer techs here? Share your experiences...
I was at Sears about to buy the craftsman tool drawer liner for like $15 or something ridiculous and instead I bought that drawer liner stuff for kitchens and what not. Was $5 for a good size roll
I only buy and use benchmade. Well worth the price imo. Been through many different knives and nothing has held up or been as great as my benchmades. My edc is the serrated mini griptilian.
That's correct. Thanks. And I'm not looking for a roll cart, that will be somewhere down the future. I just need a easy carry box since I'll be doing field experience/ beginning out and service managers told me a small one like that ^^^ will do fine. Plus it would always be good to have around...
I would start out doing tires and oil and the easy stuff so I would only need the tools for that job so the box wouldn't be too heavy and be an issue. I get discount from matco and snapon for being an auto tech student so I save good money and that's not an issue.
I'm looking to get into an automotive shop and I will need a good mobile tool box that can be carried around and hold a good size of tools.
I was looking at one of the matco two drawer with the opening top. Any input on matco boxes? Or what else would you suggest that is made in the USA...
