    Epoxy 1 or 2 coats

An update after 2 years of use on my Supercoat floor. It has held up great. The only spot where I had a prolem is where I spilled some brake fluid and didn't wipe it up right away. It sort of mixed with the epoxy and made it come off in that one spot. I'm very pleased with it. I drag axles and...

Just an update since I installed it. It has held up great. The only spot where I had a prolem is where I spilled some brake fluid and didn't wipe it up right away. Epoxy 1 or 2 coats

Floor came out great. Put down 2 coats of Supercoat. Only problem I had was that I put down some painters tape on the epoxy after 12 hours of drying. I did the trim work on the walls and then pulled up the tape and it chipped the edge of the epoxy in a few spots. Guess I should have let it cure...

BTW, Sam's club has the super kit on their site for $69 which is cheaper than the regular kit costs on supercoats site. 3 kits with shipping from Sam's club online is $250. Much cheaper than the quote I got from U-coat-it

Yep, about to put on the glaze coat. Stuff looks great and went on really well. Although, my sprinkling skills weren't too good for the paint chips to make the Terazzon finish. I bought 3 kits. 1 regular kit and 2 "super" kits (include the clearcoat Glaze) My Garage is ~650 sq ft 1...

    Epoxy 1 or 2 coats

Thanks for the info guys, the instructions just say how to apply, not how many coats. Of course it does come with a glaze that you put over it as sort of an extra layer of protection. I bought enough epoxy to put on 2 coats plus a single coat of glaze. Got the garage degreased and acid etched...

Who here knows about Redwood Decks?

I want to build a small 6' x 10' area outside my garage to do some grilling. I was thinking about concrete pavers but the soil down here is so soft that they just don't hold up over time and they become uneven. So, Im considering building a nice redwood deck instead. What are some tips for...

    Epoxy 1 or 2 coats

Supercoat Epoxy Got everything removed from my garage this weekend. This week I'm going to degrease/pressure wash/acid etch the floor to prep it. I'm going to put down some SuperCoat Epoxy next weekend and was wondering how many of you guys put on 2 coats of epoxy and if its needed? It takes...

    School me on wiring

That's what I want to do. My house has seperate panels for 220 and 110. I want to run a 100 amp line from the 220 box on my house into a new subpanel on the garage. In the garage subpanel I want to take this 220 line and run it to both 220v outlets (for my welder) and 110 outlets

    School me on wiring

I am planning on adding a sub panel for my garage. My biggest question is, can a 220 volt, 100 amp line be split in the subpanel for 110v and 220v service?

    School me on wiring

My detached garage only has (2) 110v outlets on one wall. I need 220v power for my welder and some more 110v outlets on the other side of the garage. The 220 circuit breaker box on my house has a couple open spots. Can I run a 220V line from my breaker box on the side of my house, under ground...
