I owned a body shop for 27 years and I always wet the floor in the paint booth. You want to keep the dust down. The concrete floor would soak up water. You don't want standing water as you will drag the hose around the car and splash water. Common sense stuff.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news here. But the alcohol in todays fuel will discolor and even in some cases remove the clear from the tank if fuel is spilled on it. If I am using a rattle can I use SprayMax 2K Urethane Clear Coat . It comes with the hardener.

I will never use aluminum wire again. Due to the heat and expansion and contraction of aluminum wire it has a tendency to get loose at the lug. Loose connections will arc and burn. Just my 2 cents.

I like to use dow 3/4 foam insulation board as an underlayment for vinyl siding. It works well as it is a closed cell type foam. Lets moisture out but not in. Vinyl will condensate on the backside and this will keep mildew and mold from forming. You will notice on the bottom of the siding panels...
