I owned a body shop for 27 years and I always wet the floor in the paint booth. You want to keep the dust down. The concrete floor would soak up water. You don't want standing water as you will drag the hose around the car and splash water. Common sense stuff.

How long is the run from breaker to compressor? I would run 12 ga. wire and 20 amp breaker as the compressor is only drawing 15 amps.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news here. But the alcohol in todays fuel will discolor and even in some cases remove the clear from the tank if fuel is spilled on it. If I am using a rattle can I use SprayMax 2K Urethane Clear Coat . It comes with the hardener. Harleyguy

I will never use aluminum wire again. Due to the heat and expansion and contraction of aluminum wire it has a tendency to get loose at the lug. Loose connections will arc and burn. Just my 2 cents.

Are any other lights burning out at this rate in your home? I am think of a power surge. That would explain all the components going bad at once.

I like to use dow 3/4 foam insulation board as an underlayment for vinyl siding. It works well as it is a closed cell type foam. Lets moisture out but not in. I had an all aluminum building - car wash that I bought and moved. I used foil backed insulation and peel and stick pins & clips to mount the insulation to the aluminum panels. I never had a problem and this was in the Chicago area. I hope this helps.

Are you sure the t-stat is sending 24 volts. Check the white wire as it is for heat. If you don't have 24 volts check your transformer for voltage. usually 120 v in and 24 volt out. I hope this helps.

I have tapped into my hot water heater and used a recirculating pump to pump water to a small radiator in my paint storage area and back to the water heater. This recycles the water and keeps the paint from freezing in a small 4 x 6 room. No fear of combustion.
