Hi Guys
I am currently in the process of restoring a Reed #206 R vise and have had a hard time trying to remove the swivel bolt. I have tried heat, PB blaster, and finally welded a large nut on the swivel bolt and tried my large air impact gun. No joy, it won’t budge. I currently turned the...

Both wire wheels I bought had a 5/8 hole that fit my Wissota 5/8 arbor perfectly.
My arbor checked OK on run out, but the hub on the wire wheels
are perpendicularly out and off center. I reinstalled the grinding wheel and
she runs true & smooth. Me thinks the Chinese are to blame I dunno!
I was using the original flange adapters that came with the grinder.
I was never aware that there was particular a wire wheel adapter.
Maybe that’s my problem!
What makes them different & where do I buy one?
Hey Guys,
Who makes a good, true running and balanced wire wheel for a bench grinder?
I have bought one from Northern, Weiler & they were both such out of round POS that my grinder vibrated radically.
Anyone using a Sait? I’ll pay the $$ just looking for a good wheel.
